Wedding at the Cambridge Mill

Michael and Tara’s love story began in the midst of the pandemic while they were visiting their parents in Georgian Bay. Despite the challenging times, they had their first date on October 17th, 2020, and it was evident that they were a perfect match from the start.

A year later, they took the plunge and decided to move in together. Tara bravely left behind her city life and relocated to Port Severn to be with Michael.

Then came the unforgettable proposal on May 5th, 2023. Michael orchestrated a grand surprise, enlisting the help of their families and even a local band. On a picturesque bridge over a river on his parents’ property, he got down on one knee and asked Tara to marry him. The joyous celebration continued with the arrival of their loved ones, and the night turned into a lively party.

As they embarked on wedding planning, Michael and Tara knew they wanted a waterside celebration. After touring numerous venues, they stumbled upon the enchanting Cambridge Mill. Captivated by its elegant pavilion and the stunning views of the Grand River, they knew it was the one.

Finally, they set the date for March 30th, 2024, during the Easter long weekend. With a vision of a bright, cheerful, and breezy ambiance, they brought their dream wedding to life, creating an absolutely stunning celebration beyond their wildest imaginations.
